"...summer's long gone, 'twas a fabulous time, but now it's passed."

Hello to all the vocaldente friends,

with this – rather melancholic – line of the "Sommersong" ("summer song"), taken from our summer single "...dann ist Sommer", we're giving the first sign of life after the summer break to hail the break from summer that's awaiting us now. For summer's truly taking a break until next year – even if some might say it never even stopped by this year. And whilst being in a comtemplative mood like this, one can almost be glad for autumn finally arriving... As this means: vocaldente is on tour again – an autumn tour, this time across Germany.

It's starting in the city of Lübeck next Thursday, September 28, 2007, followed by a heap of concerts in Bettorf (near Bremen), Weimar, Leipzig, Heilbronn, Bad Vilbel (near Frankfurt/Main), Weinheim, Mainz and the good ole city of Wiesbaden.

And the best part comes now: It's not sold out yet – an amount of tickets are still left! Well, admittedly the amount adds up to a decent number in parts. But it's up to you to change this before the concerts begin. (And don't wait for too long: This newsletter's already reached more than 1,500 subscribers by now...) In addition to that sensational novelty, there's a report on the international acapella festival vokal.total that was held in the Austrian city of Graz; THE voice pop competition, where we proudly claimed  the 2nd prize in the category "Comedy" and the Audience Prize for Best Group. And all this under unique conditions, we should stress. For among the 19 competitors from 7 different countries in total, we were the only ones performing without direct microphone amplification. And right afterwards, the next highlight was waiting for us: The masterclass of the famous King's Singers during the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival in Lübeck. There, we had the honour to work with our big idols – for the second time in a row! Four days filled with intensive practice sessions, with each of the six charming singers of this exceptional ensemble - incredibly educative, effective and encouraging. And it's been fun on top of it all!

Oh by the way, you can witness the result of this experience on our upcoming autumn tour... in case we didn't mention this already... ;)

So until then, or the further concerts set for this year (amongst others in Berlin, Vienna, Budapest, Potsdam, Minden, Hannover and at the 2nd Ilmenauer TonART-Festival near Erfurt).
